Well the next few posts are going to be the ATC Cards i made for the "Everything Oz" Yahoo Group I belong to. The idea was to make a card for each letter of the alphabet using things found in or related to The Wizard of Oz.
Mine are for the most part all hand drawn based on drawings by John R. Neill the illustrator for nearly all the books. Water color paints, markers, colored pencils, brads, embossing powders, acrylic paint and ink.
A is for Adrian--the man behind all those incredible costumes in the Wizard of Oz. this was a collage involving a copy of a photo, newsprint, water color paints, brads and plastic over the top that doesn't really show up in the scan of the card.

B is for Billina the yellow hen of Oz- she is in a few of the Oz books and her chicks are all named Bill or Billina . Colored pencils, water color paints and ink make up this card.
C is for Cowardly Lion which is one of my all time favorite characters. Feel like I relate to him in so many ways. My favorite scene is him getting his permanent.
D is for Dorothy of course. The drawing is based on John R. Neill's and not the MGM movie I wanted something different and hopefully unique. In the books of course Dorothy becomes a princess. Can I have a job like that?
